I can attest that you blossom during the social process of sharing ideas, etc.. but you can't always get out there and do it in person. Thus the NET is the way to go, especially for YOU, my dear little homebody! BTW, THANK YOU MARK!!!

Hurrah for laptops, internet and global connections that, when used properly, can and do actually expand community and communication rather than stifling it!!! I look forward to being more consistently in touch again!!!!

Same chat time (ANY), same chat channel (Google), my newly Scottish (comparatively) best friend.. It is the expansion of our world that interconnectivity offers, just as communication & consideration always has. This is why it should be a high priority to get EVERYone online; the more people there are communicating, the more ideas there are to consider & the less prejudice is even possible.

Dorian, if I had had 6 coffees and a run around the block, this would have been exactly what I would have written about people (except the parts about people I don't know, but who make you sad). About 5 years ago, a friend of mine and of my daughter's challenged me to write a blog and every time I sit down to read my mail, I think of her with delight. What an enrichment of the life I already loved. Hooray for the laptop guy. I'm looking for the largest part of my body to have that Kerouac quote tattooed on. XX

I oft have 6 coffees, always run circles in my mind & am consistently made happy by people. You are one of the most happy-making people I know; please thank the friend who planted the seed that grew into your Wonderland. Good people encouraging other good people to share themselves w/more good people is a circle of life-enrichment I'm proud to take part in.

I am tremendously moved by this post. An avid sci-fi fan myself, and a bit of a loner to boot, I find your online philosophy fascinating. I tend to categorize my friends in groups (through no fault of their own) and have my music group, science group, blog group, etc. All are equally valid and valuable. The Kerouac quote is fantastic, and I want those people, too. Cheers!
