Well, I, for one, didn't think it was preachy... and I enjoyed reading your thoughts. One thought in particular:

I feel no sense of being better than ANYone. In fact, quite the opposite.

Yeah, as I understand it, that's a cornerstone of Christianity. Isn't it weird that "Christianity" has come to be seen as something other than that? Partly because of the actions of some "Christians," and partly because of the firm preconceptions of some "non-Christians." Just a thought.

Religion and religious thought are my passion and also my hobby, and God knows I can get on my soapbox... but I always enjoy reading other people's ideas, and I enjoyed yours. Cheers!

I enjoyed reading that and have to say I agree with most of it. While I believe in God and practice my own beliefs, I don’t believe in religion. That means organization and man’s hand in it.
