Well sorted; because of option 'c', options 'a' & 'b' have proven entirely true too. Thanx for the empathy & let's keep the mutual admiration going no matter how far behind we get!?

I noticed a new influx of posts from both you and Monsieur Rhodester in my email inbox and happily concluded that a) everybody was feeling better about life, and/or b) everybody had more time, and/or c) somebody got themselves a new 'puter. I'm thrilled to know my hunches were true, as I love to read both of your blogs. Welcome back, and I know what it's like to be behind!

Glad to hear you have a laptop once again. I look forward to reading your posts.

I took a little jaunt into WA state with one of my daughters yesterday and realized this morning that I'd foolishly forgotten to send something off to you and Rhodester while I was down there. I will, though it may be a while yet. Someday -- when you least expect it -- a silly (but well intentioned) little something in the mail.

Silly but well-intended is truly an absolute favo[u]rite type of thing for us.. No worries on any delay either for I believe such things sort themselves & find far better timing than we ever could. Thanx in advance! As for the other kind of posting, tis such a goodness to have my posts looked forward to; I, in turn, look forward to your visits.
I'm glad you're not a fish.

However, the Poisson d'Avril 'photo' I found shows the fish at a distinct advantage.
Congrats on your new laptop! If you're like me, you'll want to give it a name straightaway. (I've had Constance Computer, Della Dell, Larry Laptop, etc.) I like your humorous use of strike-outs. That's a trick that humorists such as pathetic wannabe Dave Barry and my own steller self could use.

Props from a published wannabe humorist; well, well.. Given my policy of transparency, can't let the subtext hide!?
My past computers have all been named for Artificial Intelligences that became far too human or, more recently (w/the now Dave-owned desktop, <a title-"an image of her namesake" href="http://darkwing.uoregon.edu/%7Estb/textbooks.html" rel="nofollow">DigitaLain), a human that became far too artificial. Each computer had a troubled existence, as did its namesake, thus I'm being more careful this time..
still more human than digital |_|) “The Naming of Cats [& computers] is a difficult matter, It isn't just one of your holiday games; You may think at first I'm as mad as a hatter..” ~ T. S. Eliot

I am so happy for you to have your very own laptop! Congrats! I’ve been meaning to Thank You for my coffee name on your sidebar of Specialty Drinks, such a cup of sweetness from you. Here’s a coffee toast to you and your wonderful nature that flows through in your blogging and brews a refreshing aroma into the blogosphere :)

You're more than welcome! Tis your toast that's wonderful; I'll have to sort somewhere to use it as a tagline. So, my “Southern Michelle Chai w/a dollop of poetry,” thank YOU; I can hardly wait to be caught up here in order to do more than lurk at blogs I enjoy.
(|_|*cheers*|_|)

CS, I'm sitting in the dark, watching Dark Victory and preparing to cry, as I usually do watching it. You gotta love that Turner Classic Movie channel. Keep taking joy from your laptop.

Can't get enough of those classic movies; today's was "Paris, When it Sizzles" so, tho' I didn't get a good cry out of it, it was nostalgic & fun. Love the cameos, including a voice one. Thanx for the encouragement of joy; no worries as you're one of the reasons there's such joy to be taken!
