To be open to change and take the road less traveled is perhaps one of the most courageous things a person can do.

I was told I was very brave for coming to Alaska alone and leaving everything familiar behind. I don't see it as brave, but rather taking a road never traveled.

Chris, I must publicly state here (only because I know that Coffeesis does not experience embarrasment) that she was THRILLED to have you comment on her blog. She turned to me with a big smile while sitting at her comp and said, "Christopher commented on my blog!"

She was very happy to know you're reading it and to hear from you on here :-)

The swearing in particular was fun for me as well! ^_^ I am so glad to have caused such a smile.. Upon revisiting this line, I cannot help but wonder if it's worth pointing out that I also have no sense of ANYone being better than me!? ^_~ |_|) "There is no saint without a past, and no sinner without a future." - Shri Haidakhan Babaji

I have finally had a chance to go through and read the entries in this blog in detail. Ironically, what enabled me to finally do so was the fact that I am experiencing a day of almost complete inactivity due to the inability to act.

However, I am glad to have found solace here in the Internet and to have thus made good use of an otherwise undproductive day by reading these entries at a time when I could stop long enough to fully take it in and grok what was said.

I have to confess my favourite line in all of the entries is the following one from 24 April:

"Tho' I am one, I am still not religious, nor am I pious (I swear ;->) &, most importantly, I feel no sense of being better than ANYone."

Perhaps only coffeesister herself will appreciate why that was my favourite, but it really made me smile. ;-)

However, I am glad to have found solace here in the Internet and to have thus made good use of an otherwise undproductive day by reading these entries at a time when I could stop long enough to fully take it in and grok what was said.

I have to confess my favourite line in all of the entries is the following one from 24 April:

“Tho’ I am one, I am still not religious, nor am I pious (I swear ;->) &, most importantly, I feel no sense of being better than ANYone.”

Perhaps only coffeesister herself will appreciate why that was my favourite, but it really made me smile.
